Kay Stowell

I was born in the North West of England and have been living in Glossop, Derbyshire with my family since 2001, I spent over 25 years being a very structured, organised IT professional within the financial services area with little scope for creativity. 

In 2008 I was introduced to glass at a weekend glass fusing course.  It was here where I experienced joy excitement and was overwhelmed with the creative options glass offered.

In 2011 after redundancy, I took the opportunity to further my glass. knowledge and studied formally at Dudley International Glass Centre, developing a more rounded glass knowledge and experience.

​

In September 2012 I established my own business as an artist creating and experimenting with glass, exhibiting and selling my work at events around the North West.

 

Working with Glass brings me great pleasure and joy.

 

Glass is my passion and I am now trying to make it my life
